Cupcake's First Show
Today is St. Patty's Day, and it was an awesome day !! Cupcake went to his first show and he did great. The show (http://pinoak.org/)was super busy it had hunters/jumpers, Saddlebreds, Rocky Moutain horses and of course Iberian horses. Cupcake only entered one class, Dressage Sport Horse Prospect, Andalusian Colts 3 yrs. & Under. He won first place and he was so well behaved. I showed him myself and I 'm not a fast runner or a good runner but Cupcake was a team player. Our friends Mike and Sarah came out to cheer us on. It was so great to have friends there. Sarah is on the Irish Board and they are sponsoring a jumper class at the show. Chad and I want to sponsor something next year as this looked like alot of fun!! We are showing in another class on Saturday. We will keep everyone posted. A big thank you to Linette at TP Farms. She is a great teacher and I felt really prepared for our class. I feel so blessed to have such lovely and smart colt. I will post pics when we get them

Spring Break is Almost here!!

It has been a busy last couple weeks. Jutta was back for another awesome clinic two weekends ago. I had four really great rides with lots of stuff to practice till the next clinic. I appreciated Sarah letting me ride her talented mare and setting up these events. TP Farms was our host
http://www.tpfarm.com/index.html they have a beautiful place and even more beautiful horses. They were so welcoming and gracious, they provided a stellar lunch each day.
On February 25 ,
Sarah and I attended "Pinot and Picasso"
We had a really good time. I looking forward to doing it again. Wine really brings out my creative side. Sarah took these pictures with her i phone
On March 4
I am proud to announce Avery is becoming a riding horse. It is been a long trip but she is so worth it. She is super smart and calm. Sometimes I have to remind myself she is a baby and to go slow .
